Recently… Actually, scratch it, over 120 days ago, I sat down in my basement to interview an individual I had seen in my algorithm a lot. ADHD Coach Ryan.
I found his contact form and reached out and his administrative assistant helped me book the interview, it got moved around a few times and then finally, one sunny afternoon in mid-august, him and I shared a third space online to discuss ADHD, managing it and the questioning side of using stimulant based drugs to treat ADHD. I was pleased to find out Ryan was unfamiliar with my content and my perspective, allowing us to share an authentic, getting to know one another experience.
From after the interview, I finished and published my book, and moved homes. My computer also broke twice. Once repaired, once naught and having to secure a new digital workspace to work on this kind of thing. Some truck problems. Coolant explosions on the floor of the dump, regularly waiting for the engine to cool while reading Moby Dick in my leaking truck for 15 minutes while trucks and bulldozers around me, push around locally discarded items into a massive, acoustically unforgiving, concrete ditch. Until I share a small victory of igniting my engine and getting to back to work.
All this aside, it is nice to occasionally do podcasts with people I meet on the internet.
